At Lutjestrand beach on Lake Amstelmeer, there's a grassy area specifically for windsurfers and kitesurfers. Lake Amstelmeer has no tides, currents, or high waves, and there's always a good wind. There's also a windsurfing school at Lutjestrand. The water at the beach is shallow, making it an ideal location for learning to windsurf.

If you'd like to enjoy a day of touring in the Kop van Noord-Holland region, rent a Lopifit, E-Bike, or E-Chopper from Fred's Verhuur.
The Kop is rich in beautiful villages, dunes and beaches, and of course the flower season of April and May is also a wonderful time to visit the region.
Fred's Verhuur is open 7 days a week from April 1st to October 31st, and from November 1st to March 31st by appointment or reservation.
