In 2026, Schagen will once again be bursting with traditions and music festivals. Below you will find the most important events already on the agenda.
Easter 2026
Perhaps the most famous event in Schagen: Paasvee! People come from far and wide to experience the festivities in Schagen. The immensely popular Paasvee marks its 125th edition this year. It is an event for young and old, with a particularly rich history.

Spring Bock Beer Tour.
On Easter Sunday, the convivial Lentebier event will take place again (subject to change)! Various hospitality venues around the church and on the Loet in Schagen are joining forces to organize an atmospheric beer route together.
Please note: there is no official announcement regarding the exact date yet, but you can assume it will take place on Easter Sunday. In previous years, the beer tour was also held on Easter Sunday. As soon as the organizers announce the definitive date and additional information, we will share it immediately.

King's Day
On King's Day, April 27, the Market Square in Schagen will once again be a festive occasion. There is plenty of entertainment for young and old, with various live performances on stage. Admission is free.
Liberation Pop
Schagen commemorates the liberation of the Netherlands with a festive atmosphere and various performances on the Market Square. Various artists will perform on the large stage on the north side of the church. The concrete program will be announced later!
Magnus Festival
Magnus Festival 2026 is a two-day music festival at the natural ice rink in Schagen on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, with performances from afternoon until late evening.
Line-up (so far) Saturday (June 13) – Mainstage: Roxy Dekker, Russo, Milolaathetlukken, Roeland Beelen and Nordin.
Sunday (June 14) – Mainstage: Jan Smit, Simon Keizer and Sven Versteeg.
These are the first artists that have been officially announced; the organization will announce more names and times later.
The festival has facilities such as lockers, canopies, and various ticket types (including day and weekend tickets and VIP options), and the minimum age is 16.
Funfair
The fair in Schagen (Netherlands) is coming again! From Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, you can once again enjoy over 30 attractions in the charming town center, spread across an atmospheric fairground. From classic favorites like the bumper cars to spectacular acts like the Booster Maxxx, and of course plenty of fun for the little ones with the Jumbo and the family roller coaster, among others.
Pop Weekend
Popweekend Schagen 2026 takes place from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2 on the Markt in Schagen and is the largest free music event in North Holland. The festival is known for a varied program featuring live bands, regional talent, party acts, and DJs performing on multiple stages for a broad audience. Previous editions featured artists such as Milan Kirstein, Jada Borsato, Samuel Welten, De Feestploeg, and The Euros, alongside recognizable hits from the 80s and more. In addition to music, Popweekend offers a convivial atmosphere for everyone, from young music lovers to families, with performances that bring the Markt to life.
Zandstock 2026
When the festival season is already in full swing, the Zandstock festival is also on the schedule for August. A festival in such a small village—isn't that something to be proud of? Absolutely! And especially at such a cozy festival as in 't Zand.

Schagen Outdoor Market
At the start of the new cultural season, the UITmarkt in Schagen offers a platform for cultural associations and groups to present themselves to the public. A varied afternoon program featuring music, singing, dance, and theater takes place on multiple stages in and around Cultuurhuis Markt18.

Electric Square
Schagen bids farewell to summer with the return of the Electric Square Festival. After a successful first edition, this free festival returns with a day full of exhilarating beats, impressive light shows, and top artists. The Market in Schagen once again transforms into a vibrant party venue where music and energy come together. Dance the summer away at Electric Square Schagen 2026.

Flower parade
The biggest spring festival consists of nearly a week full of activities, surrounded by the colorful and fragrant splendor of hyacinths, daffodils, and tulips from the Bulb Region. The absolute highlight is Corso Saturday, when the Flower Parade travels from Noordwijk to Haarlem. Discover the various events here and find all the practical information for your visit.
