Beach club Falga
Located near Julianadorp, it is a quiet, wide, and clean sandy beach with a naturist section (between posts 4.09 and 5). Visitors appreciate the free parking, the surrounding dunes, and its suitability for families. The beach is easily accessible via a short walk but has limited facilities.
Julianadorp Beach
The beach at 'Strandslag Julianadorp' is the most popular beach in Julianadorp aan Zee. The beach has a stunning location and the dune area here is also beautiful. It is not without reason that this beach has been named the most beautiful beach in North Holland multiple times. In the summer, this beach is patrolled by the SSN Lifeguards from Den Helder.
On this beautiful sandy beach, you can have a drink and something to eat at Strandpaviljoen Paal6. You will also find a toilet in this pavilion, and there is even a disabled toilet available.
Beach access De Zandloper
Strandslag Zandloper is the northernmost sandy beach in Julianadorp aan Zee. This beach access point used to be called 'Ship on the Beach'. This is the ideal beach to visit with the children. The Blue Flag flies at this beautiful and quiet family beach. You don't get the Blue Flag just like that. Strandslag Zandloper is a supervised beach (during the season); there is a first aid post and a boat present for rescue operations. Coastal Bus 151 stops at this beach. This bus runs in the summer and departs from Den Helder. Coastal Bus 151 is completely free. How nice is that?
On the beautiful sandy beach, you can enjoy a drink or a meal at beach pavilion 'Zee van Tijd'. You can also use the toilet here, and there is even a beach wheelchair available for people with disabilities. The pavilion is open all year round.

Dry Weert
Strandopgang Drooghe Weert is for those who appreciate silence. This beach lies on the edge of a nature reserve and bird sanctuary. Stonechats breed here in the spring. You can easily walk or cycle there, straight through the dunes.

Groote Keeten

Callantsoog Beach
Callantsoog beach is a wide and clean sandy beach with various facilities, located in the quiet seaside resort of Callantsoog. It is known for its peaceful atmosphere, even during the high season, and holds the international Blue Flag award for clean and safe beaches.
Beach Battle Petten
The new sandy beach at Petten aan Zee is large, wide, long, and looks very beautiful. The beach and dunes were constructed in 2016 to further strengthen the coast in this area. Before 2016, Petten had no beach at all. The new beach at Petten is no less than seven kilometers long and stretches all the way to Camperduin.
The beach is divided into three different zones. Each zone has its own purpose. For example, there is a zone specifically for families and recreation, ideal for families with children. In the future, there will also be a zone specifically for beach houses. Additionally, there is a so-called sports and boat zone.
Are you in the mood for a tasty ice cream or a refreshing drink? Then visit Strandpaviljoen 'Zee en Zo'! Of course, you can also enjoy a delicious meal at this beautifully situated beach pavilion. The view from the terrace over the beach and the North Sea is fantastic.

Hargen aan zee
Hargen aan Zee is a quiet, child-friendly seaside resort in the North Holland municipality of Bergen, situated between Groet and Camperduin. It is not a real village, but is known for its spacious white beach, a large car park in the dunes, and the atmospheric Strandpaviljoen Hargen.
The beach is very wide and often quieter than other well-known beaches in the region. It borders directly on the Schoorl Dunes, ideal for walks.
There is a very spacious car park, making it an easy destination by car. Parking is often free during the winter months (Nov-Mar). Strandpaviljoen Hargen offers a terrace with a sea view, suitable for lunch, dinner, and drinks. The area is popular with families, kite flyers, and those seeking peace and quiet. Dogs are welcome on the beach all day during the off-season (Oct 1 - May 1); during the high season, there are limited times. The 'Hargen Aan Sail' event takes place here annually in July. Nearby lies the 'Lagune', a unique spot on the coast, and there are various walking routes through the dunes towards Schoorl.
Prayer Strand
Lutjestrand is a recreational area in Westerland on the Amstelmeer in the northern part of North Holland. It is known as a popular location for water sports, families, and relaxation.
It is a well-known spot for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wingfoiling due to the constant wind and shallow water near the shore. There is a specialized surf school, Leerwindsurfen, located on site.
There is a sandy beach with playground equipment such as a water table and a volleyball net, making it a suitable place for families with young children in 2026.
The High Old Ferry
The Hooge Oude Veer swimming location near Anna Paulowna in the municipality of Hollands Kroon is situated on the Hooge Oude Veer. This is a primary waterway of the Hollands Noorderkwartier Water Board. The location is situated along the Lagedijk in Anna Paulowna. There is a sunbathing lawn with a few picnic tables. The swimming zone is a maximum of 1.50 m deep and is marked with a floating line to separate swimmers from water recreation traffic (canoes, rowboats, small recreational vessels). Parking space for cars is limited. There is no supervision at the swimming site.
